We’re here to help you save by giving you some tips for finding and scoring sales and deals on cheer gear. Since Labor Day is this weekend, we also have the scoop on a couple of great secret sales, so read ahead and learn how to be a savvy shopper. How to find deals: Become a fan. One of the easiest ways to find deals is to like and follow retailers and brands on Facebook and Twitter. Many companies notify their social media fans about upcoming specials, new items, sales, and other great news you otherwise wouldn’t have found out about. Circle holidays on your calendar. Many companies hold sales around the holidays, like Labor Day and Thanksgiving (hello, Black Friday!). Make a note in your calendar of all upcoming holidays. Then, check social media pages or websites of your favorite companies to see if they are hosting a sale. Google search is your friend. When in doubt, Google it! Through a simple Google search, you can find out about coupon codes or specials companies are offering. Look for package deals or team pricing discounts. Some cheerleading companies offer lower prices for large quantity purchases. If the coach orders 12 pairs of shoes, instead of everyone ordering individually, a cheer company may offer a discount. The same goes for packages; some companies offer package deals on practice wear or team uniforms or warm-ups. As of recent, retailer Omni Cheer now gives free gifts with select package purchases. Check shipping options. Many companies offer free shipping or shipping discounts for orders of a certain size. Some companies don’t list on their homepage any free shipping offers so make sure you check their shipping prices and see if free shipping is available. Subscribe to emails. Perhaps the simplest thing you can do to score deals is to subscribe to company emails. Many retailers notify their email subscribers first about upcoming sales or specials.
