Preparing for tryouts weeks in advance is key to being at your best by the time tryouts roll around. Even knowing you are prepared doesn’t mean you won’t still have some nerves leading up to the big day though. We asked some of your favorite cheerleaders from Cheer Channel’s Superstars of All-Stars to share their tryout tips to ensure you have a great experience. See their advice below and keep working hard to make the team! “Stay calm and positive.” ~Amber Pellegrini Flyer, Level 5 “Be confident and always maintain a positive attitude no matter the circumstances.” ~Taylor Faulk Backspot, Level 5 “Always do facials!! Make sure to know your dances or cheers and always to do fake tryouts” ~Aubrey Vandermolen Flyer, Level 5 “Do your best. Show your best skills, smile, and have fun.” ~Hope Bravo Flyer/Base, Level 5 “Don’t be scared. Believe in yourself in all circumstances. I promise if you have faith in yourself, other people will believe in you too.” ~Baylee Kinsey Flyer/Secondary Base, Level 5 “Don’t be nervous.
