When cheerleaders aren’t rallying for school spirit, competing at national competitions, and serving as community leaders, they’re cheering for a greater cause. Cheerleaders around the world are working together to help bring awareness to a variety of causes, such as supporting the efforts of finding a cure for cancer. Whether it is for a local charity or a national non-profit organization, cheerleaders are doing good around the world! In light of the upcoming National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, your cheerleading squad can help support the campaign for raising awareness for breast cancer by wearing pink tops and shorts, and using pink cheer accessories like cheer pom poms and glitter makeup during the month of October to join the rally against breast cancer, along with cheerleaders and advocates all around the world.
