Springtime is the perfect time for many things. People start coming out of hibernation in social circles, school is wrapping up soon, and cheerleading seasons are ending–both competitive and sideline ones. There are a few lingering competitions left (and the biggest ones!) and there are a few games to go (especially if you’ve made the championships!), but most cheerleaders in spring are attending tryouts for next season and leafing through the pages of new catalogs from their favorite cheer retailers, looking for new cheer gear to rock at camp and summer practices. There’s no doubt about it–it’s time to have fun in the sun! Since cheer in-stock retailers just received their new inventory, this is prime time for cheerleaders to get first pick of the lot! Here are some examples of the top trends for practice wear on the market:

1. Bows on clothes.
The bow is the biggest cheerleading staple out there, but unless you get creative, there’s usually a limit one you can wear at a time. Enter: bows on clothes. Doesn’t that just blow your mind?? You can show your bow pride by getting graphic tees with bows on them, or opt for a more personalized approach with this Chassé Bow Tee with your team name or logo embroidered on the front! Speaking of graphic tees and tanks, there are so many with bows on them this year, it’s hard to pick just one to showcase!

2. The Chassé® Everyday Short. This cotton short is cozy, cute, and cool, with back yolk binding details! If you want a short that is flexible, the Everyday Short renders a cheerleader full range of motion for tumbling, stunting, flying, and flipping. Whether your destination is camp, practice, lounging at home, or out around your town, you will be confident and comfortable in this stylish short. Plus, you're going to need to be beating the heat soon in breathable practice wear; you can never have enough shorts for summertime!

3. Chassé Practice Knit Short.
It’s an oldie but goodie, for a cheerleader’s best friend for conditioning practices is knit shorts (besides their actual cheer BFF, of course). Knit shorts are meant for cheerleaders to endure practice with unmatched comfort and full range of motion.
