Meet Shana Fogz, a woman with so much passion for cheerleading, she found a way to stay involved, even with a hectic schedule working as a business woman.

During the 9 to 5 rush, Shana is busy working in New York as a business applications manager for a large company. Her second life is on weekends and evenings, cheering and performing as a member of the Gotham City Cheer team.

Shana's cheer passion is nothing new. According to the Port Chester Daily Voice newspaper, she's been a dancer since she was a child. When she started cheerleading, she realized it was her true passion, wearing the cheer uniform and waving poms for ten years. She told the newspaper "after college, I hung up my pom poms and entered into the business world to focus on my career."

As much as Shana loves her job, she can't be away from the excitement of performing for crowds. While she learned she didn't have enough experience to be a NFL cheerleader, she discovered the Gotham City Cheerleaders, a group of professional dancers that cheer for the New York Giants, among other sports entertainment events.

She took dance lessons, tried out, and has been a team member for several years. All team members live a healthy lifestyle, practicing twice a week and working out almost daily.

The team not only supports the New York Giants and performs at other events, but they also participate in charity events. Next up is their very first calendar, with part of the proceeds being donated to victims of Hurricane Sandy.

With the next Super Bowl being held at Metlife Stadium, home of the Jets, this year promises to be an exciting year for Shana and the Gotham City Cheer team.
