Summer is coming to an end and we are starting to think about cozy sweaters and pumpkin-flavored everything, which means it’s time to go back to school!
Don’t panic, you still have a few weeks of summer sunsets and warm days to soak up, but summer break has come to its unavoidable end. While you will probably miss sleeping in, there are plenty of reasons to look forward to going back to school. Even if you aren’t someone who thoroughly enjoys school, everyone has something she or he likes about school. We wanted to know what yours was, so our August poll asked what you are looking forward to most about the new school year.
We asked, you answered, and the results are in!
To be honest, we weren’t surprised at the most popular answer. We know our readers are just as cheer-obsessed as we are, after all. So, it’s no surprise that most of you are eager to get back to cheer practices. There’s so much excitement and anticipation at the beginning of a new season, and practice is where you will master the stunts and routines you’ll wow the crowd with all season long.
A lot of you were most excited about seeing your friends every day. Missing your friends is one of the few drawbacks of summer break. Plus, getting to spend time with your teammates outside of practice will only unite your team more.
Despite these major plus sides of going back to school, some of you still just aren’t ready for summer to end. We hear you, but soon you’ll get back in the swing of things. (And remember, it’s just a few months until your winter break. You can do it!)
We are really impressed with the group of our readers who are excited about taking new classes! Did you know that prioritizing school like this can actually improve your cheerleading? It’s true. A high achiever is a high achiever, both in the classroom and in the gym!
Thanks for voting! See the full results below, and make sure you vote in our September poll, then check back at the end of the month for the results.
